Monday August 5th
Lucky me. I got to have a day out with Lucy and Adam at Wakehurst near Haywards Heath. Wakehurst is the country estate of the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. There are ponds, lakes and woodlands to explore.
| Several children tried to solve the finger maze in a giant Oak tree stimp. |
These were the tunnels and tents which Lucy and Adam had fun running through.
| There were some very big creatures in the pond. |
| Lucy and Adam loved showing me all their favourite places. |
Wakehurst features natural
woodland and lakes and formal gardens.
| There was huge areas of planting throughout the park. |
Clever works of art have been created in another part of the park.
